21 Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry // Due the week of Feb. 24, 2015

Hi Everyone!

This week is split into two sections:

MONDAY KIDS:
You should all be finished with Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry and have 5 discussion questions to bring next week. I would also like you to write a 1-2 page book review on whether you thought the book was generally good or bad, and specific reasons why. Be sure to include specific reasons and evidence from the book for your opinions.

I suggest thinking about:

1. Plot: How was the beginning? The climax? The end?
2. Characters: Developed? Flat? Round? Static? Dynamic? Relatable? 
3. Theme: Was the lesson universal? Important? Well-developed?
4. Imagery: Were your senses excited? Did you feel like you were there?
5. Symbolism/Metaphors: Were there any? Should there have been more?

WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY KIDS:

1. Read chapters 1-5 of Animal Farm and write 5 discussion questions :)
